Bethesda Central Farm Market

Cava restaurant and Potomac Fine Foods are excited to announce that we will be a part of the Bethesda Central Farm Market. This NEW farm market kicks off tomorrow, Sunday June 7, with a "Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony," including local business and community leaders, as well as elected officials. The market will be held every Sunday morning – until at least November 1, 2009 – from 9am to 1pm on Elm Street in Bethesda between Wisconsin Avenue and Woodmont Avenue.

The market, which promises to be “The Best Food Shopping in Bethesda,” plans to hold chef demonstrations, offer entertainment for kids and host farm dinners featuring the products of market vendors. A valet service will be on hand to help shoppers with their groceries.

The Bethesda Central Farm Market will work with Fresh Give! and Manna Food Center to help provide fresh food for less fortunate citizens in Montgomery County. The market will also support the initiatives of Bethesda Green, a private-public partnership, which works to encourage good practices to protect the environment.

Potomac Fine Foods, a sister company of Cava restaurant, will be at the market every Sunday selling the entire line of Cava Mezze products. If you live in the area, please come out and visit us. We won’t be hard to find with our black and gold Cava Mezze branded tent.
